Welcome to this site! Right away, let me state the main purpose it has been created. It is to mobilize prayer of Bible-believing Christians for the 147 million orphans in the world, along with their caregivers and/or prospective adoptive families. You can participate by praying for others or asking for prayer, or both.

God loves and cares for the orphan, and calls His people to love them and care for them too. So often, we want to DO something, and there are MANY things we CAN do, both financially and physically. But ultimately, Scripture tells us that “unless the Lord builds the house, it’s builders labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1). That means that it has to be His work from beginning to end, and the most crucial component is prayer. No one in the church of Christ can carry the burden of prayer alone; we need to join together – where two or three are gathered, in families, in small groups, in churches, and globally. By participating in this site, you can join with other believers in praying for the orphans of the world, whom God loves with all His heart, those who are “the least of these.”

Please give a brief introduction and then IF YOU HAVE A PERSONAL BLOG, give the address where we can follow your story more closely. In order to not overload this site with too many ongoing requests, weekly updates or less are suggested. If the site gets used properly, your requests will be covered in both the 31 days and as God leads prayer warriors to follow your blog in particular. IF YOU DON’T HAVE A PERSONAL BLOG, try to keep your requests brief and update weekly or less, unless an urgent need comes up.
